Tenders Being Called in Two Counties
Tenders are being called Wednesday, July 18, for work on roads in Colchester and Cumberland counties.
The first tender is for three sections. Work consists of cold planing and asphalt concrete repaving at the Cobequid Pass and shoulder regravelling along the Cobequid Pass.
Section 1--Trans-Canada Highway 104, Cobequid Pass, eastbound and westbound lanes at the toll plaza, approximately 2.7 kilometres.
Section 2--Trans-Canada Highway 104, Cobequid Pass, from Masstown Interchange to Colchester/Cumberland county line, eastbound lanes and westbound lanes, including ramps, each shoulder, approximately 22 kilometres.
Section 3--Trans-Canada Highway 104, Cobequid Pass, from Thomson Station to Colchester County line, eastbound lanes and westbound lanes, including ramps, each shoulder, approximately 24 kilometres.
This tender closes on Aug. 2. The work is expected to be completed by Sept. 30.
The tender for work in Cumberland County is for one section of cold planing, pulverization (shoulder narrowing) and asphalt concrete repaving.
Trans-Canada Highway 104 eastbound, from approximately 500 metres west of the structure at Exit 5--the Highway 142 interchange-- easterly approximately 6.5 kilometres.
This tender closes on Aug. 2. The work is expected to be completed by Oct. 31.
