COLCHESTER COUNTY: Highway 102, Stewiacke River Bridge

Stewiacke River Bridge, southbound, 4.8 km north from Hants County line will have alternating lane closures for bridge rehabilitation from July 3 to Sept 31. Traffic control will consist of Jersey barrier, drums and flashing lights. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday to Friday and weekends as required.

GUYSBOROUGH COUNTY: Mill Creek Bridge

The Mill Creek Bridge on Reddy's Hill Road will be closed to traffic for repair from July 2 to July 31. Detour on Trunk 16 and North Riverside. The bridge will be closed 24 hours a day. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

HALIFAX COUNTY: Highway 102, Fall River to Bedford/Sackville Interchange

Highway 102, southbound lanes, inbound to Halifax from Exit 5, Fall River to Exit 4B at the Bedford/Sackville Interchange will have a one-lane closure for micro-surfacing from July 3 to Aug. 31. Traffic control will consist of traffic control persons, cones, flashing light units and barrels. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

HALIFAX COUNTY: Hydes Bridge, Route 277, Lantz

Hydes Bridge on Route 277 will be closed to traffic for painting from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday to Friday from July 3 to Aug 10. Detour on Old Trunk Road and Trunk 2.

RICHMOND COUNTY: False Bay Bridge, Port Hawkesbury

The False Bay Bridge, 0.5 km east of the Trans-Canada Highway 104/Trunk 4 overpass, will have a one-lane reduction from July 3 to Aug 15 for bridge rehablitation. Traffic control will consist of periodic traffic control and signs during shoulder work. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

VICTORIA COUNTY: Cape North, Cabot Trail

Cape North to Big Interval will have a one-lane closure for chipseal application from July 3 to July 15. Traffic control will be provided. Motorists are advised to expect delays and to drive slowly because of flying stone. Work takes place from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

ANTIGONISH COUNTY: Church Street Bridge

The Church Street Bridge will be reduced to one lane of traffic for concrete and joint-seal repair work until June 30. Work takes place between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.

Trans-Canada Highway 104, from Frankville Road (Exit 38) easterly for 8.3 km, will have a one-lane closure for road work until June 30. Work takes place between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.

CAPE BRETON COUNTY: Highway 105, Bras d'Or

The Little Bras d'Or Bridge on Highway 105 is reduced to occasional lane closures about 3.8 metres wide, because of work on the bridge. Work takes place until Dec. 31. Traffic control consists of control people. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

CAPE BRETON COUNTY: Highway 125, Sydney River, Balls Creek

Highway 125 will have one-lane closures for micro-surfacing until July 31. Motorists are asked to use caution and expect delays. Traffic control consists of a pilot vehicle. Work takes place from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

CAPE BRETON COUNTY: Trunk 4, Big Pond

Big Pond Trunk 4 from Loch Lomond Road to Glen Albert Road is under construction for upgrading, cold planing, gravelling and asphalt concrete repaving until Oct. 31. There is traffic control and construction signing. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

COLCHESTER COUNTY: Brendon Cross Road Bridge, Stewiacke

The Brendon Cross Road Bridge will be closed for painting until July 6. Detour on Route 289, Coverdale Road, Middle Stewiacke.
Work takes place 24 hours a day.

Mines-Bass River Road is closed due to culvert wash-out and collapse. The detour is expected to remain in effect until Aug. 31.

CUMBERLAND COUNTY: Trans-Canada Highway 104

Trans-Canada Highway 104, westbound, from Thompson Road to Oxford will have a 1.5 km, one-lane closure for crack filling until June 30. A 200-metre section will have a one-lane closure with Jersey barrier for 24 hours a day until July 4. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

DIGBY COUNTY: Highway 101, Joggins Bridge

Joggins Bridge on Highway 101 will have a one-lane closure for bridge deck repairs until July 16. Work takes place from daylight to dark, seven days a week.

Route 344 will have a one-lane closure from Highway 104 at Aulds Cove to Mulgrave Town Line for micro-surfacing until July 3. Traffic control consists of traffic control persons and a pilot vehicle. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Trunk 16 from Old Monastery Road to Route 344 will be reduced to one lane for road work for approximately 6.6 km until July 31. Work takes place from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.

HALIFAX COUNTY: Bedford ByPass #1 Overpass Structure

The Bedford ByPass #1 overpass structure over Trunk 1, at entrance to Highway 101, westbound, will have a one-lane closure for deck repair until July 6. Lane will be reduced to four metres. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

HALIFAX COUNTY: Highway 102, Aerotech Interchange, Exit 5 to Highway 118

Highway 102, southbound lanes, from the Aerotech Interchange, Exit 5, to Highway 118 will have a one-lane closure for asphalt patching and paving until July 31. Traffic control is provided. Delays to be expected. Public urged to use alternative routes if possible. Work takes place from 9 a.m. to 7 a.m.

Highway 102, between the 103 overpass and the Hammonds Plains exit, will have a one-lane closure for asphalt repaving until August 1. Expect 10-to 20-minute delays. Work takes place from 5 a.m. to 4 p.m.

HANTS COUNTY: Elmsdale Highway 102 Overpass Bridge

Highway 102 overpass bridge will have two narrow lanes open during bridge repairs until July 31. Detour on Trunk 14. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

HANTS COUNTY: Elmsdale Road Underpass Structure

Elmsdale Road underpass structure Highway 102, Exit 8, is under construction for bridge rehabilitation. Lanes will be reduced to three metres until Oct. 15. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

HANTS COUNTY: Halfway River Overpass Structure

Halfway River overpass structure, Highway 101 at Exit 8, will have a continuing lane closure for concrete repair and asphaltic plug joints until Aug. 15. Traffic control consists of traffic signals. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

HANTS COUNTY: Highway 101, Exit 3, Mount Uniacke Overpass

Mount Uniacke overpass will have an alternating one-lane closure for painting girders on the overpass with an expected completion date of June 30. Speed is reduced to 80 km/hr and barrels are used to channel traffic. Work takes place 24 hours a day.

HANTS COUNTY: Route 236, Georgefield Road, Lattie's Brook

Georgefield Road, from Route 236 at Lattie's Brook, southerly to the East Hants Landfill, will have a one-lane closure through these areas for various road work from until Aug. 31. Traffic control consists of traffic control persons or a pilot vehicle. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

HANTS COUNTY: Mantua Bridge

Mantua Bridge in Hants County is closed until about June 30 to replace the bridge. The detour route is Trunk 14 through Brooklyn to Route 215 to Lawrence Road.

KINGS COUNTY: Highway 101, New Minas

Highway 101 from Hants/Kings county line westerly 4.8 km will have a one-lane closure for repaving until July 25. Traffic control consists of control persons and pilot vehicle. Work takes place from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

SHELBURNE COUNTY: Highway 103, Queens County Line to Sable River Bridge

Highway 103 will have a one-lane closure from Queens County line westward to the Sable River Bridge for cold planing and asphalt repaving from until Aug. 31. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Highway 105 from Kelly's Mountain to Nyanza will have lane closures for cold planing and paving from June 25 to August 30. Motorists are asked to use caution and expect days. Work takes place from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

VICTORIA COUNTY: Seal Island Bridge, Baddeck

Crews will be painting the Seal Island Bridge on Trans-Canada Highway 105 until late fall. Between June 1 and Aug. 31, the bridge may have one lane closed for a maximum of three hours per day. The closure will take place during non-peak hours. Traffic control consists of control persons or traffic lights.
