Cease and Desist Order, NSGEU Local 22

The Nova Scotia Labour Relations Board has taken action to end an illegal work stoppage that began today.

A complaint filed today requests that the board issue a cease and desist order against certain employees of IWK Health Centre who are members of the Nova Scotia Government Employees Union, Local 22, Dartmouth.

The board has issued an interim order directing the employees participating in the illegal work stoppage to cease and desist and to return to work at their next regularly scheduled shift.
