Cease and Desist Order, IWK Health Centre

The Nova Scotia Labour Relations Board has taken action to end an illegal work stoppage that began today.

A complaint filed today requests that the board issue a cease and desist order against certain employees of IWK Health Centre. The order applies to employees represented by the National Automobile, Aerospace, Transportation and General Workers Union of Canada (CAW-Canada).

The board has issued an interim order that directs employees participating in the illegal work stoppage to cease and desist and return to work at their next regularly scheduled shift.
