LABOUR RELATIONS BOARD--Cease and Desist Order, Capital District Health Authority

The Nova Scotia Labour Relations Board has taken action to end an illegal work stoppage that began today.

A complaint filed today requests that the board issue a cease and desist order against certain employees of Capital District Health Authority. The order applies to employees who are members of the Canadian Auto Workers Union, Local 4606, and the Nova Scotia Government and General Employees Union, Halifax.

The board has issued an interim order that directs the employees participating in the illegal work stoppage to cease and desist and return to work at their next regularly scheduled shift.
