The Caledonia Mills Bridge will be closed for repairs until June 29. Detour through Alder River on Heatherton-Guysborough Road.

The Church Street Bridge will be reduced to one lane of traffic for concrete and joint-seal repair work between June 18 and June 30. Work takes place between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.

ANTIGONISH COUNTY: Trans-Canada Highway 104
Trans-Canada Highway 104, from Frankville Road, Exit 38, easterly for 8.3 km, will have a one-lane closure for road work from June 11 to June 30. Work takes place between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.

GUYSBOROUGH COUNTY: Mill Creek Bridge
The Mill Creek Bridge on Reddy’s Hill Road will be closed to traffic for repairs June 18, with an expected completion date of July 30. Detour on Trunk 16 and North Riverside.

Trunk 16 from Old Monastery Road to Route 344 will be reduced to one lane for road work, for approximately 6.6 km. Work begins June 18 with an expected completion date of July 31. Work takes place from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.

KINGS COUNTY: Highway 101, New Minas
Highway 101 from Hants/Kings County line westerly 4.8 km will have a one-lane closure for guard-rail repairs and paving tentatively beginning June 18. Traffic control by control persons. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

CAPE BRETON COUNTY: Highway 105, Bras D’or
The Little Bras d’Or Bridge on Highway 105 is reduced to one lane, about 3.8 metres wide, due to work on the bridge. Work takes place until July 31. Traffic control consists of temporary signal lights. Work takes place 24 hours a day.

CAPE BRETON COUNTY: Trunk 4, Big Pond
Big Pond Trunk 4 from Loch Lomond Road to Glen Albert Road is under construction for upgrading, cold planing, graveling and asphalt concrete repaving until Oct. 31. There is traffic control and construction signing. The public is asked to use alternative routes if possible. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

COLCHESTER COUNTY: Stewiacke, Brendon Cross Road Bridge
The Brendon Cross Road Bridge will be closed for painting until July 6. Detour on Route 289, Coverdale Road, Middle Stewiacke. Work takes place 24 hours a day.

COLCHESTER COUNTY: Highway 102, Salmon River Bridge
Salmon River Bridge, southbound, will have alternating lane closures for bridge repairs. A wide-load detour is available for vehicles over 4.3 metres. Work is expected to be completed by June 30. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

COLCHESTER COUNTY: Highway 102, Stewiacke River Bridge
The Stewiacke River Bridge, northbound, will have alternating lane closures for bridge rehabilitation until July 31. Traffic control consists of Jersey barrier, drums and flashing lights. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Mines-Bass River Road is closed due to culvert wash-out and collapse. The detour on Mines Bass River Road is expected to remain in effect until Aug. 31.

Joggins Bridge on Highway 101 will have a one-lane closure for bridge deck repairs until July 16. Work takes place from daylight to dark, seven days a week.

HALIFAX COUNTY: Bedford Bypass #1, Overpass Structure
The Bedford Bypass #1 overpass structure over Trunk 1, at entrance to Highway 101, westbound, will have a one-lane closure for deck repair until June 30. Lane will be reduced to 4 metres. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

HALIFAX COUNTY: Bedford Bypass Bridge, #1 Structure, to Highway 101
The Bedford Bypass Bridge, #1 Structure, connection to Highway 101 will have a one-lane closure for deck repairs until July 6. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

HALIFAX COUNTY: Bedford Interchange
Bedford Interchange will have a one-lane and partial lane closures to remove and construct new light standard bases on and near the ramp entrances from until June 19. Expect delays and/or closure on Exit Ramp 4B from the Highway 102 to Highway 101, and from 101 to 102 south and northbound. Detour on Exit 4B. Work takes place from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

HALIFAX COUNTY: Highway 102, Aerotech Interchange, Exit 5 to Highway 118
Highway 102, southbound lanes, from the Aerotech Interchange, exit 5 to Highway 118 will have a one-lane closure for asphalt patching and paving until July 31. Traffic control is provided. Delays to be expected, the public urged to use alternate routes if possible. Work takes place from 9 a.m. to 7 a.m.

HALIFAX COUNTY: Highway 102 at Kearney Lake Road Overpass
Highway 102, northbound, at the Kearney Lake Road overpass structure, between the 103 overpass and the Hammonds Plains exit, will have a one-lane closure for bridge rehabilitation and asphalt patching, with 10- to 20-minute delays until June 22. Work takes place 24 hours a day.

The Yankeetown Road underpass structure at Highway 103, Exit 5, is under construction for protective coating until June 16. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Highway 102, Overpass Bridge, will have two narrow lanes open during bridge repairs. Work is expected to be completed by July 31. Detour on Trunk 14. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Elmsdale Road underpass structure on Highway 102 at Exit 8 is under construction for bridge rehabilitation. Lanes will be reduced to 3 metres until Oct. 15. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

HANTS COUNTY: Halfway River Overpass Structure
Halfway River overpass structure, Highway 101 at Exit 8, will have a continuing lane closure for concrete repair and asphaltic plug joints until Aug. 15. Traffic control will consist of traffic signals. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

HANTS COUNTY: Highway 101, Exit 3, Mount Uniacke Overpass
Mount Uniacke overpass will have an alternating one-lane closure for painting girders on the overpass with an expected completion date of June 30. Traffic control will be a reduced speed limit of 80 kph and barrels to channel traffic.

HANTS COUNTY: Mantua Bridge
Mantua Bridge in Hants County is closed until about June 30 to replace the bridge. The detour route is Trunk 14 through Brooklyn to Route 215 to Lawrence Road.

INVERNESS COUNTY: Plaster Cove Bridge, Port Hawkesbury
Plaster Cove Bridge in Port Hawkesbury will be reduced to a two- lane closure for bridge repairs until July 15. Traffic control consists of signing and barriers which are in effect all day. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

PICTOU COUNTY: New Glasgow, Moores Foord Bridge on West Branch Road
Moores Foord Bridge on West Branch Road is down for repairs. The expected completion date is June 22. Detour on MacIntosh Road, College Grant and Gunn Road. Work takes place 24 hours a day.

SHELBURNE COUNTY: Highway 103, Queens County Line to Sable River Bridge
Highway 103 will have a one-lane closure from Queens County line westward to the Sable River Bridge for cold planing and asphalt repaving until Aug. 31. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

VICTORIA COUNTY: Seal Island Bridge
Crews will be painting the Seal Island Bridge on Trans-Canada Highway 105 until late fall. The bridge may have one lane closed, between June 1 and Aug. 31, for a maximum of three hours per day. The closures will take place during non-peak hours. Traffic control will consist of control persons or traffic lights.
