The Bridge on West Branch Road is down 24 hours a day because of failure. Reopening date is unknown. Detour on MacIntosh Road, College Grant and Gunn Road.

ANTIGONISH COUNTY: McAmis Bridge, Trunk 4, Old South River Road

McAmie Bridge, Trunk 4, Old South River Road in Antigonish is reduced to one lane of traffic until about June 15. Traffic control persons are directing traffic. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

CAPE BRETON COUNTY: Highway 105, Bras d’Or

The Little Bras d’Or Bridge on Highway 105 is reduced to one lane, about 3.8 metres wide, for 24 hours a day due to work on the bridge. Traffic control consists of temporary signal lights. Completion is expected by July 31.

CAPE BRETON COUNTY: Trunk 4, Big Pond

Big Pond Trunk 4 from Loch Lomond Road to Glen Albert Road is under construction for upgrading, cold-planing, graveling and asphalt concrete repaving until Oct. 31. There is traffic control and construction signing. The public is asked to use alternative routes if possible. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

COLCHESTER COUNTY: Highway 102, southbound

Highway 102, southbound, has an alternating lane closure for micro-surfacing beginning 9.6 kilometers south of Exit 12 (Brookfield) to the Hants County line until about May 30. Traffic control consists of flashing lights. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. weekdays, and weekends as required.

Mines-Bass River Road is closed indefinitely due to culvert washout and collapse.

COLCHESTER COUNTY: Highway 102, Salmon River Bridge

The Salmon River Bridge on Highway 102 will have alternating lane closures for southbound traffic due to bridge repairs. A wide- load detour is available for vehicles over 4.3 metres. Work is expected to be completed by June 30. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

HALIFAX COUNTY: Highway 102 - At Kearney Lake Road Overpass Structure

Highway 102 at Kearney Lake Road overpass between the Highway 103 overpass and the Hammonds Plains exit, northbound land will have a one-lane closure for bridge rehabilitation and asphalt patching for 24 hours a day with 10-to-20-minute delays until June 22.

HALIFAX COUNTY: Trunk 1, Upper Sackville

Trunk 1, Upper Sackville, will be repaved from Hants County line easterly toward Patton Road, approximately 4.2 kilometres. Traffic control consists of flag persons, cones and flashing lights until Oct 31. Hours of operation will be from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Bishopville Road is reduced to one lane until July 15 for road repairs and ditching. Flag persons will direct traffic. Hours of operation will be from 7 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

HANTS COUNTY: Brooklyn, Trunk 14

Trunk 14, Brooklyn will be reduced to one lane for ditching and pulverization until July 15. Traffic control by control person. Hours of operation will be from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

HANTS COUNTY: Highway 101, Exit 3 Mount Uniacke Overpass

Mount Uniacke overpass will have an alternating one-lane closure for painting girders on the overpass starting May 24 with an expected completion date of June 30. Traffic control will be a reduced speed limit of 80 kph and barrels to channel traffic. Hours of operations will be in effect for 24 hours a day.

HANTS COUNTY: Mantua Bridge

Mantua Bridge in Hants County is closed until about June 15 to replace the bridge. The detour route is Trunk 14 through Brooklyn to Route 215 to Lawrence Road.

INVERNESS COUNTY: Plaster Cove Bridge, Port Hawkesbury

The Plaster Cove bridge in Port Hawkesbury will be reduced to two lanes for bridge repairs until July 15. Traffic control consists of signing and barriers 24 hours per day. Hours of operation will be from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

KINGS COUNTY: Greenwood

McMaster’s Bridge and Harmony Road over Fales River between Greenwood Road and Rocknotch road is closed for bridge repairs until May 31. The detour routes are on Greenwood Road and Rocknotch Road and are in effect 24 hours per day. Work takes place between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m.

KINGS COUNTY: Highway 101, New Minas

Highway 101 from Hants County line westerly 4.8 kilometres will have a one-lane closure for guardrail repairs and paving until June 18. Flag persons will be direct traffic. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
