Tenders Called in Two Counties

Tenders are being called today, May 16, for work on roads in Cumberland and Guysborough counties.

The tender in Cumberland County is in one section for surface preparation and protective coating:

Section 1--Hanson Bridge (Cum 007); Trunk 2 at Little Forks River.

This tender closes on June 5. The work is expected to be completed by Sept. 30.

The tender for Guysborough County will include two sections for micro-surfacing and seal coating:

Section 1--Route 344; from TCH 104 at Aulds Cove to Mulgrave Town Line, approximately 3.1 km.

Section 2--Trunk 16, from 0.6 km north of Salmon River Bridge southerly towards Half Way Cove, approximately 5.4 km.

This tender closes on May 30. The work is expected to be completed by Aug. 31.
