Tender Called in Cumberland County

Tenders are being called Wednesday, May 2, for work in Cumberland and Colchester counties.

The work in Cumberland County will consist of pulverization, gravelling and asphalt concrete repaving in one section:

Section 1 -- Route 209, from end of repaving at Mahoney Brook, westerly to eastern intersection of Back Road, about six kilometres.

This tender closes on May 17. The work is expected to be completed by Oct. 31.

The work in Colchester County consists of bridge rehabilitation in four sections:

Section 1 -– Hilden Road Overpass; Highway 102 southbound.

Section 2 -– Stewiacke Interchange Overpass; Highway 102 northbound at Exit 11.

Section 3-- Vernon Bridge; Salmon River Road, about 3.5 kilometres east of Truro town line.

Section 4 -– Campbell Bridge; Trunk 6, about 1.3 kilometres west of Route 246.

This tender closes May 17. Work is expected to be completed by Oct. 15.
