Tenders Called in Six Counties
Tenders are being called Wednesday, April 25, for work in Colchester, Guysborough, Hants, Halifax, Kings and Pictou Counties.
The work in Colchester County consists of seal coat and double chip in two sections:
Section 1: Route 311, from Stuart Bridge to Cross Road, about 9.5 km.
Section 2: Route 311, from Kemptown Road northerly to Matheson Road, about 3.1 km.
This tender closes on May 15. The work is expected to be completed by Aug. 15.
The work in Guysborough County consists of micro-surfacing and seal coat in two sections:
Section 1: Route 344, from Trans Canada Highway 104 at Aulds Cove to Mulgrave town line, about 3.1 km.
Section 2: Trunk 16, from 0.6 km north of Salmon River Bridge southerly towards Half Way Cove, about 5.4 km.
This tender closes on May 17. The work is expected to be completed by Aug. 31.
The work in Halifax and Hants Counties consist of seal coat and double chip in two sections:
Section 1: Trunk 14, Hants County, from the Windsor-Milford Road easterly to Route 354, about 12.4 km.
Section 2: Joshua Slocum Ave., Halifax County (double chip), from Trunk 3, Lewis Lake junction, about 0.6 km.
This tender closes on May 16. The work is expected to be completed by Aug. 31.
The work in Kings County consists of seal coat and double chip in two sections:
Section 1: Trunk 12, from Butler Road southerly toward Kings County Line, about 6 km.
Section 2: Dahlgren Crescent north (double chip), from Marshall Road westerly to Dahlgren Crescent, about 0.8km.
This tender closes on May 17. The work is expected to be completed by Sept. 15.
The work in Pictou County Consists of seal coat in one section:
Section 1: Route 347, from Blue Mountain to French River in Moose River, about 4 km.
This tender closes on May 16. The work is expected to be completed by Aug. 15.
