Premier Hosts Reception Honouring Jones Team

Colleen Jones and members of her World Curling Championship team will be honoured during a public reception at Province House Wednesday, April 25. Premier John Hamm will host the reception, which will take place from 1 to 2 p.m. in the foyer.

"Nova Scotians are very proud of Colleen and her team mates for their thrilling victory in Lausanne," said the premier. "They’ve demonstrated in the most compelling way that Nova Scotians can compete successfully with the best in the world. And now, Nova Scotians will have a chance to congratulate their world champions."

Sport and Recreation Minister Rodney MacDonald will also pay tribute to Team Canada.
