Tenders Called in Two Counties

Tenders are being called Wednesday, April 11, for work in Lunenburg and Victoria Counties.

The work in Lunenburg County consists of pulverization, gravelling and asphalt concrete repaving in one section:

Section 1 -- Trunk 12, from about 2.7 km south of Lake Lawson Road at New Ross southerly, about 6 km.

This tender closes on April 27. The work is expected to be completed by Oct. 31.

The work in Victoria County consists of widening right-hand turn land, cold planing, AC paving and AC repaving in three sections:

Section 1 -- Highway 105, from Exit 12 (Route 312) easterly to 1999 repaving, about 4.1 km.

Section 2 -- Highway 105, various areas from about 2.1 km west of Exit 7 (Cabot Trail), Middle River to about 3.3 km east of Baddeck River, about 3.7 km.

Section 3 -- Highway 105, widening to accommodate right hand turn land at the new Harris Road, about 0.5 km.

This tender closes on April 27. The work is expected to be completed by Oct. 31.
