CUMBERLAND COUNTY: Highway 104, Oxford

Highway 104 in Oxford will close four lanes for utility line work (five-road closure) on Saturday, April 7, for one day. The detour will be the off-ramps at Exit 5, Oxford. There will be traffic control. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.

CONTINUING WORK

CAPE BRETON COUNTY: Trunk 4, Big Pond

Big Pond Trunk 4 from Lock Lomond Road to Glen Albert Road is closed for upgrading, cold planing, gravelling and asphalt concrete repaving until Oct. 31. There will be traffic control and construction signing. The public is asked to use alternative routes if possible. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

COLCHESTER COUNTY: Truro

Red Bridge is closed until May 11 for steel bridge repairs. The detour route is on Cloverdale Road, Brenton Cross Road and Route 289.

HANTS COUNTY: Mantua Bridge

Mantua Bridge in Hants County is closed until about June 15 to replace the bridge. The detour route is Trunk 14 through Brooklyn to Route 215 to Lawrence Road.

KINGS COUNTY: Greenwood

McMaster’s Bridge and Harmony Road over Fales River between Greenwood Road and Rocknotch road is closed for bridge repairs until May 12. The detour routes are on Greenwood Road and Rocknotch Road and are in effect 24 hours per day. Work takes place between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m.
