Red Bridge is closed until May 11 for steel bridge repairs. The detour route is on Cloverdale, Breton Cross and Route 289.

McMaster’s Bridge and Harmony Road over Fales River closed until May 12 for bridge repairs. The detour route is on Greenwood Road and Rocknotch Road and is in effect 24 hours per day. Work takes place from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

CONTINUING WORK

CAPE BRETON COUNTY: Trunk 4, Big Pond

Big Pond Trunk 4 from Loch Lomond Road to Glen Albert Road is closed for upgrading, cold planing, gravelling and asphalt concrete repaving until Oct. 31. There will be traffic control and construction signing. The public is asked to use alternative routes. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

COLCHESTER COUNTY: Brenton Cross Road, Middle Stewiacke

Brenton Cross Road is closed for bridge maintenance until Sunday, April 1. The detour route is on Route 289, Coverdale Road, Middle Stewiacke.

HANTS COUNTY: Mantua Bridge Closed

Mantua Bridge in Hants County is closed until about June 15 to replace the bridge. The detour route is Trunk 14 through Brooklyn via Route 215 to Lawrence Road.
