Tenders Called in Four Counties

Tenders are being called Wednesday, March 28, for road work in Hants, Inverness, Richmond and Victoria counties.

One Hants County project will consist of concrete repair and asphaltic plug joins.

Section 1 -- Halfway River Overpass (Han 120), Highway 101 at Exit 8, approximately 0.1 km.

This tender closes on April 17. The work is expected to be completed by Aug. 15.

The other Hants County project consists of asphalt concrete repaving.

Section 1 -- Bishopville Road, from Hantsport town line to end of pavement, approximately 7.4 km.

This tender closes on April 12. The work is expected to be completed by Oct. 31.

The work in Inverness and Richmond counties consists of bridge rehabilitation in two sections.

Section 1 -- Plaster Cove Bridge (INV027); on Trunk 4 approximately 0.7 km east of Port Hastings rotary.

Section 2 -- Flase Bay Bridge (RIC002); Trunk 4.

This tender closes on April 17. The work is expected to be completed by Sept. 30.

The work in Victoria County consists of micro-surfacing in two sections.

Section 1 -- Hwy 105, from Middle River Bridge, easterly approximately 1.7 km.

Section 2 -- Hwy 105, from Exit 9 to Exit 10, approximately 6.9 km.

This tender closes on April 17. The work is expected to be completed by Aug. 31.
