Tenders Called in Two Counties

Tenders are being called Wednesday, March 14, for Colchester and Halifax counties.

The work in Colchester County will consist of bridge rehabilitation.

Section 1 -- Salmon River Bridge (Col 407); Highway 102, southbound lanes near Truro.

This tender closes April 4. The work is expected to be completed by June 30.

Two tenders are being called in Halifax County. One consists of asphalt concrete repaving.

Section 1 -- Trunk 1, from Hants County line, easterly approximately 4.2 km.

This tender closes April 5. The work is expected to be completed by Aug. 31.

The other Halifax County tender is for cold planing and asphalt concrete repaving (end product specification).

Section 1 -- Highway 102 (southbound lanes), from the Aerotech Park interchange, southerly to the junction with Highway 118, approximately 5.9 km.

This tender closes on April 5. The work is expected to be completed by Aug. 31.
