Tenders are being called Wednesday, Feb. 21, for construction and paving in Colchester, Guysborough, Shelburne and Hants counties.

The work in Colchester County will consist of replacing a bridge and grading, gravelling and paving its approaches.

Section 1 - Millard Creek bridge (COL031); replacement structure.

Section 2 -- Construction of approaches to the new structure; Trunk 6 near Bayhead, approximately 0.5 kilometres.

This tender closes on March 14. The work is expected to be completed by Sept. 30.

The work in Guysborough County will consist of asphalt concrete repaving.

Section 1 - Trunk 16, from approximately 0.1 kilometres south of the intersection of Old Monastery Road and Trunk 16, southerly towards 1999 repaving at Boylston, approximately 6.5 kilometres.

This tender closes on March 15. The work is expected to be completed by Aug. 31.

The work in Shelburne County consists of asphalt concrete repaving.

Section 1 -- Highway 103, from Queens County line westward to Sable River bridge, approximately 9.2 kilometres.

The work in Hants County consists of pulverization, gravelling and asphalt concrete repaving.

Section 1 -- Trunk 14, from Hants West/Hants East municipal boundary to Route 215 in Brooklyn, approximately 8.6 kilometres.

This tender closes on March 16. The work is expected to be completed by Aug. 31.
