The first session of the 58th General Assembly will be prorogued at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 22, 2001, Speaker Murray Scott announced today.

The second session of the 58th General Assembly will officially open later the same day, at 2 p.m., at which time Lt.-Gov. Myra Freeman will read the speech from the throne.
