ANTIGONISH: Trans-Canada Highway 104

Various sections of the Trans-Canada Highway 104, from Addington Forks Road to Taylors Road will have occasional one-lane traffic for removal and placement of guardrail. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Work is expected to be completed Friday, Jan. 5.

HANTS COUNTY: Mantua Bridge Closed

Mantua Bridge in Hants County is closed until about June 15, 2001, in order to replace the bridge. The detour route is available via Trunk 14 through Brooklyn to Route 215, then to Lawrence Road. The detour is marked.

QUEENS COUNTY: Charleston Bridge

The Charleston Bridge over the Medway River in Queens County is closed indefinitely due to an accident and bridge collapse. There is a detour from the bridge, south on Route 472 in Mill Village, then east to Trunk 3, west on Trunk 3 to Route 474, along the Medway River Road, and north to the bridge.
