CONTINUING WORK

ANTIGONISH: Trans-Canada Highway 104

Various sections of Trans-Canada Highway 104, from Addington Forks Road to Taylors Road, will have occasional one-lane traffic for the removal and placement of guardrails. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Work is expected to be completed on Friday, Dec. 22.

HANTS COUNTY: Mantua Bridge Closed

Mantua Bridge in Hants County is closed until about June 15, 2001, in order to replace the bridge. A detour route is available via Trunk 14 through Brooklyn to Route 215 via Lawrence Road.

QUEENS COUNTY: Charleston Bridge

The Charleston Bridge over the Medway River in Queens County is closed indefinitely due to an accident and bridge collapse. There is a detour from Bridge South on 472 Mill Village East to Trunk 3, west on Trunk 3 to 474 Medway River Road north to bridge.
