ANTIGONISH COUNTY: Trans-Canada Highway 104
Various sections of Trans-Canada Highway 104 from Addington Forks Road to Taylors Road are closed for removal and placement of guardrail. One lane will be open occasionally for traffic. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. It is expected to be completed on Dec. 15.

ANTIGONISH COUNTY: Route 337
Route 337, from the end of last year's upgrading northerly for about 3.4 kilometres, will be reduced to one lane for grading, gravelling, pulverization and asphalt concrete repaving. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and is expected to be completed on Dec. 15.

CAPE BRETON COUNTY: Keltic Drive
The construction of an intersection and installation of traffic lights is taking place at the entrance to Cape Breton Shopping Plaza on Keltic Drive, Sydney, between King's Road and the train trestle on Keltic Drive. The lights are expected to be fully operational by Dec. 14. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and is expected to be completed on Dec. 15.

HANTS COUNTY: Mantua Bridge Closed
Mantua Bridge in Hants County will be closed for replacement until about June 15, 2001. A detour route is available at Trunk 14, through Brooklyn to route 215 and to Lawrence Road.

QUEENS COUNTY: Charleston Bridge
The Charleston Bridge over the Medway River, Queens Co., is closed indefinitely due to an accident and bridge collapse. A detour is available from the bridge, south on route 472 to Mill Village, east to Trunk 3, and west on Trunk 3 to route 474 to the Medway River Road and north to the bridge.
