Road Tenders Called in Two Counties

Tenders are being called Wednesday, Oct. 18, for road projects in Hants and Inverness counties.

In Hants County, a tender is being called for removal and replacement of steel guardrail on various sections of Highway 101, from the Hants County line westerly to exit 17 at Kingston.

The tender closes Thursday, Nov. 2, and work is expected to be completed by Friday, Dec. 15.

In Inverness County, a tender is being called for engineering consulting services for preliminary design to develop a conceptual scheme for a new bridge structure at Margaree Harbour.

The tender closes Wednesday, Nov. 8, and work is expected to be completed by Saturday, March 31, 2001.
