A Book of Condolence will be made available to Nova Scotians wishing to pass along their sympathies and memories to the family of former prime minister Pierre Elliott Trudeau.

Premier John Hamm said the book will be made available for public signing in the foyer of Province House, 1726 Hollis St., Halifax. The public can sign the book between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., from Tuesday, Oct. 3, to Friday, Oct. 6.

"Pierre Trudeau touched many lives in Nova Scotia and across the country. The Book of Condolence will allow people an opportunity to share their sentiments about this remarkable individual," said the premier.

Premier Hamm will join Lt.-Gov. Myra Freeman and Larry Freeman for the state funeral of Mr. Trudeau on Tuesday, Oct. 3, in Montreal.
