Scarecrow Festival to be held Thanksgiving Weekend
Sherbrooke Village and the St. Mary's Tourism Association today announced that the Sherbrooke Village Scarecrow Festival has been postponed until the Thanksgiving weekend.
The festival, originally planned for Saturday, Sept. 23, and Sunday, Sept. 24, will now take place Oct. 7-8 and will coincide with the annual Sherbrooke Pantry Sale.
Organizers made the decision to move the event due to community involvement in the popular Sherbrooke Community Yard Sale scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 23. About 50 people participate in the yard sale.
Sherbrooke Village and the St. Mary's Tourism Association apologize for any inconvenience.
