Tenders Called in Various Counties
Tenders are being called Wednesday, Sept. 13, for a road project in Cumberland County and hauling of highway salt in various counties.
In Cumberland County work will consist of widening of the gravel shoulder, installation of guardrail, concrete curb island and signs in two sections.
Section l - Trunk 2, from the Parrsboro town line northerly, about 75 metres, and from the Parrsboro town line southerly about 255 metres.
Section 2 - Trunk 2, construction of a raised median and erection of signs at the intersection of Main Street and Trunk 2, about 0.02 km.
The tender closes Thursday, Sept. 28 and work is expected to be completed by Tuesday, Oct. 31.
Tenders are also being called for the hauling of highway salt in the following counties:
- Victoria and Inverness;
- Antigonish and Guysborough;
- Colchester;
- Hants;
- Kings;
- Lunenburg and Queens;
- Yarmouth, Digby and Shelburne.
The tender closes Thursday, Sept. 28, and work is expected to be completed by Sunday, April 15, 2001.
