COLCHESTER COUNTY: Route 224
Motorists are advised that Route 224 from Route 336 to the Moose River/Mooseland Road in Colchester County will be reduced to one lane for ditching, culverts, asphalt patching and repaving. Work began on July 26. It runs from 6:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. until completion on Oct. 31.

COLCHESTER COUNTY: Route 224
Motorists are advised that Route 224 from the Moose River/Mooseland Road to the Musquodoboit Valley High School in Colchester County will be reduced to one lane for ditching, culverts, asphalt patching and repaving. Work began on July 26 and runs from 6:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. It is expected to be completed on Oct. 31.

COLCHESTER COUNTY: Highway 104
Motorists are advised that the Highway 104 Railroad Overpass eastbound, 1.5 kilometres east of the 102/104 interchange, will be reduced to alternating lane closures for repairs. The work began on July 4 and takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily until completion on Aug. 31.

COLCHESTER COUNTY: Highway 104
Motorists are advised that the westbound lanes of the Trans- Canada Highway 104 from one kilometre east of Exit 17 to the Debert interchange will be reduced to one lane for microsealing.
The work began on June 14 and takes place from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. until completion on Aug. 15.

COLCHESTER COUNTY: Mohns Overhead Crossing
Motorists are advised that the Mohns Overhead Crossing, about 7.4 kilometres from Cumberland County line on Trunk 4, will have alternating lane closures for bridge repairs. Work began on May 8 and takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Work is expected to be completed on Aug. 31.

GUYSBOROUGH COUNTY: Trans-Canada Highway 104/Canso Causeway
Trans-Canada Highway 104 at the Canso Causeway will have a temporary two-lane detour around a work area to replace a culvert in Barry's River. The work began on July 31 and it is to be completed on Aug. 15.
Motorists are advised to use caution and expect delays during the construction project.

HALIFAX COUNTY: Brookside Road/Route 333
Motorists are advised that crews will be constructing a left turning lane for Brookside Road and widening Route 333. Work began on July 31 and runs from 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. until completion on Aug. 31. Traffic control persons will be on-site.

HALIFAX COUNTY: Trunk 2
Motorists are advised that Trunk 2, from Sunnylea Road north to Highway 102 overpass at Enfield, will have lane closures for cold planing and asphalt concrete repaving. The work began on July 17. It runs from 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. until completion on Aug. 31.

HALIFAX COUNTY: Highway 101
Motorists are advised that Highway 101 between Bedford and the Beaverbank Interchange will be reduced to one lane to remove existing jersey barrier and replace with new jersey barrier.
Work began on July 8 and takes place from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. until completion on Aug. 31.

HALIFAX COUNTY: Salmon River Bridge
Motorists are advised that the Salmon River Bridge on Trunk 7 will be reduced to one lane for bridge rehabilitation. Work began June 19 and is expected to be completed on Aug. 15.

HALIFAX COUNTY: Kent Brook Bridge
Motorists are advised that the Kent Brook Bridge, Route 224, Greenwood, will be reduced to one lane for bridge rehabilitation. Work began on July 24 and is to be completed on Aug. 12.

HALIFAX COUNTY: Beaverbank River Bridge
Motorists are advised that the Beaverbank River Bridge, Halifax County is being replaced. Work began on May 25 to prepare the site for a temporary two-lane bridge to be installed as a detour while the existing bridge is removed and replaced.
Speed limits have been reduced and posted at 50-kilometres an hour in the work site. Work on the bridge replacement will be completed on Aug. 31.

HANTS COUNTY: Shubenacadie River Structure
Motorists are advised that the Shubenacadie River Structure will be reduced to one lane for bridge rehabilitation. Work began on July 24 and takes place from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. until completion on Oct. 31.

HANTS COUNTY: Bog Road Bridge
Motorists are advised that the Bog Road Bridge on Highway 101 will be reduced to one lane for surface preparation and protective coating of steel girders.
Work began on June 19 and is to be completed on Aug. 5.

HANTS COUNTY: Highway 102
Motorists are advised that Highway 102 northbound lanes from Exit 8 (Elmsdale) to Exit 9 (Milford) will be closed for bridge repairs, guard rail, cold planing, asphalt patching and asphalt concrete repaving.
Work began on June 12 and takes place from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. until completion on Aug. 31.

INVERNESS COUNTY: Cabot Trail
Motorists are advised that the Cabot Trail in the Lake O'Law area will be reduced to single lane for repaving and other repairs.
Work began on July 17 and takes place from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. until completion on Sept. 15.

INVERNESS COUNTY: MacKay Bridge (Whycocomagh)
Motorists are advised that the MacKay Bridge on the Trans-Canada Highway 105, 200 metres west of Route 223, will be reduced to one lane of traffic for bridge repairs. There are traffic lights in effect. Work began on July 4 and is to be completed on Aug. 15.

INVERNESS COUNTY: Trans-Canada Highway 105
Motorists are advised that one lane of traffic is closed on Highway 105 through Melford, Blues Mills, and Whycocomagh as it is under construction. The work includes cold planing, paving, and repaving. It began on July 4 and is to be completed on Aug. 31. Hours of construction occur daily from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.
The lengths of the work zones are as follows: 0.5 kilometres in Melford, 3.2 kilometres in Blues Mills, and 4.7 kilometres in Whycocomagh.

KINGS COUNTY: Highway 101
Motorists are advised that Highway 101 will be reduced to one lane from the Greenwich Interchange (Exit 11) to Trunk 12 (Exit 13) for repaving and guardrail repairs. Work began on July 24 and takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. until completion on Aug. 31. A detour is available via Trunk 1.

PICTOU COUNTY: Highway 104
Motorists are advised that Highway 104 will be reduced to one lane eastbound from Highway 106 overpass to the end of twinning, including ramps at Exits 22, 23, 24 and 25. Work will consist of bridge repair, cold planing asphalt concrete paving and shouldering.
Work began on June 1 and runs from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. until completion on Aug. 31.

QUEEN'S COUNTY: Charleston Bridge
Motorists are advised that the Charleston Bridge over the Medway River in Queens County is closed indefinitely due to an accident and bridge collapse. A detour is available from the bridge south on 472 Mill Village East to Trunk 3, west on Trunk 3 to 474 Medway River Road north to bridge.
