HALIFAX COUNTY: Bedford Bypass

One of the lanes inbound to Dartmouth on the Bedford Bypass is closed today, Aug. 1, after the load on a transport truck shifted.

Transportation officials are on the scene. They will close all inbound lanes from Sackville on the Bedford Bypass at 7:30 p.m. and bring in a crane to re-stack the load. It's expected the complete closure will last about two hours. Motorists are asked to find an alternate route.
