Access Nova Scotia to Issue Marriage Licences in Truro

Truro couples tying the knot can now receive marriage licences from Access Nova Scotia.

This move is consistent with providing seamless government to citizens. The Town of Truro issued licences on behalf of the province for the past 10 years.

Effective today, brides and grooms can visit the Access Nova Scotia office at 35 Commercial St., or call 1-877-848-2578.

About 300 marriage licences are issued in Truro each year.
