Fundy Museum Sponsors Local Music Festival

It's time once again for Parrsboro's music festival, Band Day. This annual event, presented by the Parrsboro Citizens' Band, will take place on Sunday, July 30. Fundy Geological Museum is a sponsor of this year's event.

Festivities will take place from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. and will feature musicians from Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Prince Edward Island. The musical entertainment will range from marches and concert to classical and swing. Also included in the activities will be prize draws, 50-50 tickets, award presentations, free face painting for the children, and a barbecued chicken dinner.
