Road Tenders Called in Four Counties

Tenders are being called Wednesday for road projects in Cumberland, Pictou, Colchester, and Halifax counties.

In Cumberland County, a tender is being called for asphalt concrete patching of various roads, approximately 206.3 kilometres in all. The tender closes July 13, 2000 and work is expected to be completed by August 31, 2000.

In Pictou County, a tender is being called for asphalt concrete patching of various roads, approximately 144.1 kilometres in all. The tender closes July 13, 2000 and work is expected to be completed by September 15, 2000.

In Colchester County, a tender is being called for asphalt concrete patching of various roads, approximately 22.5 kilometres in all. The tender closes July 13, 2000 and work is expected to be completed by August 31, 2000.

In Halifax County, a tender is being called for patching and asphalt concrete repaving seven kilometres of Route 224, from the Mooseland/Moose River Road southwesterly to the Musquodoboit Valley High School. The tender closes July 14, 2000 and work is expected to be completed by October 31, 2000.
