Road Tenders Called
Tenders are being called Wednesday, June 21, for road projects in Halifax, Hants and Pictou counties.
The tenders for Halifax County include:

widening of intersection to include left turn lane and asphalt concrete paving on Route 333 at Brookside Road, about .5 kilometres.

cold planing and asphalt concrete repaving on West Ship Harbour and Clam Bay Road, from Trunk 7 easterly to Little Harbour Road, about 14 kilometres.
The two tenders being issued in Hants County are:

asphalt concrete repaving on route 215, from New Cheverie Road easterly to Kennetcook River Bridge, about 10 kilometres.

asphalt, waterproofing, joint seal replacement and concrete restoration in the following two sections: Section 1: Shubenacadie River structure, Highway 102 Section 2: Mill Village overpass structure, Highway 102
In Pictou County, a tender is being called for asphalt concrete repaving on route 289, from railway crossing in Lansdowne northerly, about 6.75 kilometres.
The tenders for Halifax and Pictou counties will close July 6. The tender for Hants County will close July 11.
The work on Route 333 in Halifax County is expected to be completed by Friday, Sept. 15 and the work for the other tenders completed by Tuesday, Oct. 31.
