NEW WORK

Guysborough County: Country Harbour The Stormont ferry at Country Harbour will be out of service due to annual mini-refit as of 5 a.m., June 5. Subject to weather conditions, the projected resumption of service will be June 9.

Pictou County: Highway 104 Highway 104 will be reduced to one lane eastbound from Highway 106 overpass to the end of twinning including ramps at Exits 22, 23, 24 and 25. Work will consist of bridge repair, cold planing asphalt concrete paving and shouldering. Work will take place from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. until completion on August 31.

Shelburne County: Shelburne Bridge The Shelburne Bridge will be closed for repairs. Work will commence on June 5 and will take place from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. until completion on June 23. Detour via Highway 103.

CONTINUING WORK

Annapolis County: Clementsport Road Clementsport Road will be closed daily from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. for the construction of the Cornwallis Park water transmission line until completion on June 15. Detour via Trunk 1, Burns Hill Road, Waldec Line Road and Shaw Road. Access will be maintained for emergency vehicles and school buses.

Antigonish County: Beech Hill Road The Beech Hill Road from the Trans Canada Highway 104 southerly to the entrance of the land fill site, will be reduced to one lane for subgrading and gravelling. Work is expected to be completed on July 31.

Colchester County: Mohns Overhead Crossing The Mohns Overhead Crossing, about 7.4 kilometres from Cumberland County line on Trunk 4 will have alternating lane closures for bridge repairs. Work will commence on May 8, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Work is expected to be completed on August 31.

Colchester: Viaduct Bridge The Viaduct Bridge, Pleasant Valley on Highway 102, Colchester County will be reduced to alternating lane closures to do bridge repairs. Work will take place 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily until completion June 30. Motorists are advised to use caution and expect delays during the construction project.

Halifax County: Beaverbank River Bridge The Beaverbank River Bridge, is being replaced. Speed limits have been reduced and posted at 50 km-hr through the work site. Work on the bridge replacement will be completed on August 31.

Yarmouth County: Carleton Bridge The Carleton Bridge will be closed for repairs to the under-carriage. Work will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. until expected completion June 3. Detour via Canaan Road.
