Snowstorm Closes Cobequid Pass

Snow, freezing rain and wind are sweeping across the province today, leaving behind tough driving conditions.

Blowing snow and poor visibility has already forced the closing of the Cobequid Pass. A number of cars and trucks went off the road before it was closed today at 12:45 p.m.

The Department of Transportation and Public Works's salt trucks and snowplows are working to keep the roads as clear as possible. Drivers are urged to slow down and use caution on highways.
