Music at Noon in the Mary E. Black Gallery

The Nova Scotia Centre for Craft and Design presents another reason to enjoy the season with a special noon hour concert series.

As part of the current exhibition, Sound Craftsmanship:
Instrumental Progression, musicians will be performing using instruments similar to those on display. All instruments in the exhibit were handmade by Nova Scotians and are on display until Feb. 5 in the Mary E. Black Gallery.

The concerts will take place every Wednesday between 12:15 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. Admission to the gallery is free, however, donations are welcome.

The following concerts have been scheduled:

Dec. 22 Richard Fortier
Guitar & Mandolin

Jan. 5 Jim Smith
Fiddle & Penny Whistle

Jan. 12 Rachel Stevenson
Hand Drums

The Mary E. Black Gallery is located in the Nova Scotia Centre for Craft and Design, 1683 Barrington St., Halifax.
