Holiday Season Message, 1999

The following is the holiday season message from Premier John Hamm:

Happy holidays, and the best of the season to you and yours.

It's the time of year when we stop to take stock of the many blessings that we have been fortunate enough to share in over the last 12 months.

Our friends and family, good health, and especially our children are foremost in our thoughts and we should take this time to stop and fully appreciate the joy these gifts bring us.

It's also the time of year to share with those who unfortunately have not had the opportunities or good fortune that we sometimes take for granted. It's important that we also keep them in our thoughts during these days of celebration.

May you enjoy good fortune during this season of hope and renewal, and on the precious time we spend with our loved ones.
