CUMBERLAND COUNTY: Five Island Bridge
There will be traffic interruptions on the Lynn Road in Cumberland County at the Five Island Bridge because of repair work. Work will commence on Nov. 1 until completion on Nov. 5. Expect delays daily from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

HALIFAX COUNTY: Highway 7, Ship Harbour
Highway 7, Ship Harbour, will be reduced to one lane while bridge deck is being replaced. Work will commence on Nov. 1 until completion on Nov. 12. Expect delays daily from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Road will be bumpy during the evenings.

PICTOU COUNTY: Sylvester Road
The bridge on Sylvester Road will be closed to replace stringers and deck. Work will commence on Nov. 1 until completion on Nov. 19, from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Detour via Green Hill Road and Old Alma Road.

ANTIGONISH COUNTY: West River Bridge
The West River Bridge on the Trans-Canada Highway 104 will be reduced to one lane for repairs. Work is expected to be completed Oct. 30. Motorists can expect delays.

ANTIGONISH COUNTY: Whidden's Bridge
Motorists are advised that Whidden's Bridge on Main Street is reduced to one lane for bridge rehabilitation. Work will take place until Nov. 30. Both lanes of the bridge may be closed for short periods. Notices and dates for these activities will be made known when schedules are confirmed.

ANTIGONISH COUNTY: Route 337
Route 337, about 3.2 kilometres north of the Antigonish town line, is reduced to one lane for subgrade, pulverization, gravelling and asphalt concrete paving. Work takes place from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m., and is to be completed Nov. 30.

ANTIGONISH COUNTY: Highway 104
The underpass on Highway 104 near Beaver Meadow is closed so crews can carry out work on the bridge. The eastbound and westbound traffic on Highway 104 is detoured around the bridge at Exit 30. The Beaver Meadow Road is closed at the Exit 30 underpass. The detour directs motorists to the Exit 30 interchange ramps and then back onto Highway 104. This work will continue until Nov. 30.
Motorists are reminded to use caution when travelling through a construction area.

CAPE BRETON REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Keltic Drive and Kings Road
Improvements to the Kings Road and Keltic Drive intersection, which include road widening and traffic light installation, began Sept. 20. Work will take about six weeks to complete. To avoid delays, motorists are advised to use alternative routes.
To complete the work as quickly as possible, the hours of operation will be Monday night until Saturday morning, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., and 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Route 223 is reduced to one lane for ditching, pulverization, gravelling and paving. Motorists can expect delays daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. until Nov. 15.

CAPE BRETON COUNTY: Highway 125
The ramps at the Peppett Street interchange (Exit 2) of Highway 125 are relocated until Oct. 31. The temporary exit is near the area where Highway 125 crosses Pottie Lake and it will be posted as Exit 2. Motorists are advised to use caution and expect delays during the construction project.

CAPE BRETON COUNTY: Highway 125
Highway 125 at Sydney River will be reduced to one lane in the eastbound direction for two overpass structures for bridge deck rehabilitation on the south side of the eastbound overpasses. The work will run daily from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. until completion on Dec. 15.

CUMBERLAND COUNTY: Sherman Bridge
The Sherman Bridge on Wyvern Road will close to all traffic from Oct. 18 to Oct. 30 to permit crews to repair storm damage to the structure. The detour is via Farmington Road.

The Wallace Harbour Bridge on Route 573 will be reduced to alternating lanes for concrete deck repairs from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. until Nov. 15.

Route 344, from the Trans-Canada Highway 104 to the Mulgrave town line, is reduced to one lane for ditching, culvert replacement and asphalt repaving. Work takes place between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., until project completion on Oct. 31.

GUYSBOROUGH COUNTY: Trunk 16
Motorists are advised that Trunk 16, from Route 344 to Harts Store at Boylston, is reduced to one lane for cold planing, culvert and asphalt repaving. Work takes place between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., until project completion on Oct. 31.

The bridge on Trunk 2 at the Enfield interchange structure, Highway 102, is reduced to one lane for bridge repairs. Work takes place between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., until project completion Oct. 31.

HALIFAX COUNTY: Route 277
Motorists are advised that Route 277 from Hurshman Road easterly to Antrim Road is reduced to one lane for ditching, culverts, guard rails, pulverization, gravel, asphalt concrete paving and shoulder gravel work. Work takes place from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m., until project completion Oct. 31.

KINGS COUNTY: Highway 101
Highway 101, between Exit 14 at Coldbrook and Exit 15 at Berwick, will be reduced to one lane for repaving. Work will take place until Oct. 31. Motorists can expect delays daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Trunk 1 from Lockhart Mountain Road to Coldbrook Village Park Road will be controlled by flagpersons for storm sewer, widening, curb and gutter, traffic lights and asphalt repaving until Oct. 31. Expect delays from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

KINGS COUNTY: Horton Bridge, Highway 101
Horton Bridge on Highway 101 is restricted to one lane westbound until Oct. 31 for sandblasting and repainting. Motorists can expect delays.

The Caledonia Bridge on Trunk 4 will be reduced to alternating lane closure for rehabilitation, between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., until Oct. 31.

The Richmond County Line road is reduced to one lane for pulverization, gravelling and asphalt paving. Motorists can expect delays daily, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., until project completion on Oct. 31.

Upper Clyde Road, from 1.6 kilometre north of Highway 103 at Clyde River, northerly 1.5 kilometres, is reduced to one lane for gravelling and paving. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., until project completion Oct. 31.

SHELBURNE COUNTY: Sandy Point
Sand (Sandy) Point Road, starting at the Shelburne town line and ending 6.5 kilometres west of CFB Shelburne, is reduced to one lane for pulverizing, gravelling and paving. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., until project completion Oct. 31.

Motorists are advised that Prospect Street will be reduced to one
