Tenders Called for Halifax, Hants

Tenders are being called Wednesday, Sept. 22, for bridge projects in Halifax and Hants counties.

The work involves bridge rehabilitation in six sections:
Section 1: Nine Mile River structure, Trunk 14 Section 2: East River structure, Trunk 7, Sheet Harbour Section 3: CNR and spillway structure, Northwest Arm Drive, Halifax Section 4: Woodland Avenue overpass, Highway 111 interchange structure, westbound lanes Section 5: Highway 102 underpass at Highway 101/Trunk 1 Section 6: Shubenacadie River structure, Highway 102, northbound lanes

The tender call closes Oct. 7, and work is expected to be carried out by Nov. 30, 1999.
