Tenders Called for Three Counties

Tenders are being called for road projects in Cape Breton, Colchester and Victoria Counties.

In Victoria County, a tender is being called July 7 for protective coating on the Baddeck River Bridge. The tender will close July 22 and the work is expected to be carried out by October 31.

In Colchester County, a tender has been called for cold planing and asphalt concrete repaving on Highway 104, eastbound lanes. The section starts from new pavement at Masstown easterly to the Debert interchange structure (Exit 13), about 4.4 kilometres, and includes the southeast ramp and a portion of the northeast ramp of the Debert interchange, about 0.6 kilometres. The work totals about 4.9 kilometres.

In Colchester County, a tender has been called for pulverization, gravelling and asphalt concrete repaving on Trunk 4, from about 0.4 kilometres east of Valley Station Road easterly to Old East Mountain Road, totalling roughly 4.1 kilometres.

The tenders for Colchester County will close July 20 and the work is expected to be carried out by October 31.

In Cape Breton County, a tender has been called for bridge rehabilitation to Little Bras D'Or Bridge. The tender will close July 15 and the work is expected to be carried out by November 15.
