NEW WORK

HALIFAX COUNTY: Highway 102

Highway 102 will be reduced to one-lane in both north and southbound lanes between Lake Thomas Bridge and Highway 118 including portions of Exit 5 and off-ramps beginning May 26. Delays can be expected from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. for asphalt-concrete cold planing and paving. A completion date is set for June 11. Motorists are requested to use alternate routes if possible.

KINGS COUNTY: Banks Bridge

Motorists are advised that Banks Bridge, on the Rocknotch Road, 1.2 kilometres south of Route 201 (Hall Road), will be closed to replace wear surface from 8:30 a.m to 4 p.m. on May 26. A rain delay date for the work is May 31. Detour via Greenwood Road or Tremont Mtn. Road.

CONTINUING WORK

ANNAPOLIS COUNTY: Phinney Bridge

Phinney Bridge on Old Mill Road, Wilmot, is reduced to one-lane for repairs until completion on July 10. Traffic control will be by traffic lights.

ANTIGONISH COUNTY: Route 344

Route 344 in Antigonish County is closed to carry out work associated with pipeline construction at Steep Creek. Completion date for this work is May 25. A detour is available at the site.

CAPE BRETON COUNTY: Trunk Four

Trunk Four from Loch Lomond Road to Middle Cape, Cape Breton Co., is reduced to one-lane for upgrading, cold planing, gravelling and paving. Delays are expected daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. until completion on July 31.

HANTS COUNTY: Highway 102 Southbound

Highway 102 southbound from Exit 9 (Milford) to Exit 8 (Elmsdale) in Hants County is reduced to one-lane for guard rail, cold planing, asphalt-concrete paving and shoulder gravel work. Delays are expected daily from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. The completion date for this work is Aug. 31.

LUNENBURG COUNTY: Highway 103

Ramps at Exit 13 and two at Exit 12 on Highway 103 will have alternating lane closures for ditching, cold planing, paving and shouldering. Delays are expected daily from 6:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. until completion on July 30.
