Accident on Route 209

Motorists are advised that Route 209, near the Fraserville/ Brookville area between Parrsboro and Advocate, is closed in both directions because of an accident involving a logging tractor-trailer and a motor vehicle.

RCMP, emergency response and Transportation and Public Works officials are at the scene.

There is no detour available. The road is expected to be closed until about 6 p.m. today.
