Cease Trade Order

The Nova Scotia Securities Commission has ordered Ronald G. Davis, Laurie Jeffers Davis, Davis and Davis Personal and Professional Development Enterprises Inc., 3021310 Nova Scotia Ltd., Lauron Enterprises Inc., and Davis and Davis Personal and Professional Development Seminars Ltd. to cease trading in the Personal Empowerment Program, known as the PEP program, for 15 days from April 29, 1999, the date of the order.

The temporary cease trade order was based on evidence that securities were being traded by these persons or companies not in compliance with the registration and prospectus provisions of the Nova Scotia Securities Act.

A hearing and review have been set for May 12, 1999, at which time the concerned parties will have the opportunity to make representations as to the future of the cease trade order.
