Weight Restricted Roads Open Monday

Spring weight restrictions still in effect on provincial roads will be lifted on Monday, April 26.

Nova Scotia's Minister of Transportation and Public Works has determined that the remaining spring weight restricted roads in Colchester, Cumberland, Pictou, Antigonish, Guysborough, Richmond, Inverness, Victoria and Cape Breton counties will open at 12:01 a.m., April 26.

Favourable weather conditions in the counties of Yarmouth, Shelburne, Digby, Queens, Annapolis, Kings, Lunenburg, Halifax and Hants allowed the roads to open earlier than expected this year.
