Lahave II Ferry Service Interruption

The Lahave II ferry in Lunenburg County will be out of service Saturday, April 17, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Lahave II will undergo its major annual inspection and refit. It will be replaced for about the next two months by The Scotian, the relief ferry used by the Department of Transportation and Public Works.

Service is being interrupted to allow crews to switch the cable that draws the ferry across the river from East Lahave to West Lahave. Service will resume when the switch is complete.
