Acadian Culture and History Featured
Understand more about the Acadian people, their history and culture through special public programming in January and February, co-sponsored by Museum Services Division.
Talks, films, and entertainment will be held in conjunction with the travelling exhibition, Evangeline's Odyssey, at the Museum of Natural History from Jan. 10 to Mar. 1.

- Film/Talk: Evangeline, 1929 starring Delores Del Rio by Ernest J. Dick (archivist)
Sunday, Feb. 7 (1 p.m. French, 2:30 p.m. English)
- Film: Evangeline's Quest
Saturday, Feb. 13, 2 p.m.
- Talk: Evangeline: A Glimpse into her influence on the Acadian Identity by Barbara LeBlanc (Acadian ethnologist)
Tuesday, Feb. 23, 7:30 p.m.
- Talk: Forgotten 17th-c. Acadian Settlement by Mike Sanders, Archaeologist
Admission is free. All activities take place at the Museum of Natural History, 1747 Summer St., Halifax.
NOTE: All of the programs listed and the associated exhibition, Evangeline's Odyssey, present good audio/video recording opportunities. We would be happy to arrange videotaping opportunities or set up interviews with presenters.
