Winter Parking Regulations - Valley, Hants County
Parking on the roads in the most developed areas of Nova Scotia, outside towns and regional municipalities, will be restricted between Monday, Dec. 14, and March 31, 1999. From 1 a.m. until 7 a.m. each day, drivers will need to park off the road to allow for routine snow and ice removal by Transportation and Public Works crews.
"These regulations basically follow good common sense," said Ralph Hessian, provincial traffic authority. "Snow and ice removal is an important part of keeping our roads safe during winter conditions and also prevents unnecessary damage to vehicles parked in the path of a plow."
