Partridge Island Annexation

The Nova Scotia Utility and Review Board will hold a hearing to consider an application by the Municipality of Cumberland to annex the Partridge Island area of the Town of Parrsboro. The meeting will be held at the Town Office in Parrsboro on Monday, Nov. 30 at 11 a.m.

The purpose of Monday's hearing is to determine what studies and other information are required.

The meeting is the first step in a two-step process. A second hearing will be held in 1999 to hear the details of the proposed annexation. At that time there will be full opportunity for members of the public to express their views about the proposed annexation at an evening session.
