Cease and Desist Order--Volvo Canada

The Nova Scotia Labour Relations Board will hear a request to rescind a cease and desist order it issued yesterday involving employees of Volvo Canada Ltd. in Halifax.

The National Automobile, Aerospace, Transportation and General Workers Union of Canada (CAW-CANADA), Local 720, filed the request for a hearing to review the order issued against all Volvo employees participating in an illegal work stoppage which began Oct. 21.

The hearing is scheduled for Oct. 27.
