Halifax Waterfront Development Appeals
The Nova Scotia Utility and Review Board will be hearing appeals surrounding an approved development agreement for a residential and commercial complex on the Halifax waterfront.
The agreement between the Waterfront Development Corp. and Southwest Properties Ltd. has already been approved by the Halifax Regional Municipality council. The project would be on the east side of Lower Water Street in the area of Bishop Street.
The Save the Waterfront Society will present their appeal on Tuesday, Oct. 20, at 10 a.m. Members of the public will be able to present their concerns at 7 p.m. The hearings will be held at the Utility and Review Board's offices on the third floor of Summit Place, 1601 Lower Water St., Halifax.
