CONTINUING WORK

COLCHESTER COUNTY: Highway 102 northbound

Motorists are advised to expect delays due to road work taking place on Highway 102 northbound on a seven-kilometre section from the Shubenacadie River to Stewiacke. Speed limits will be reduced from 110 km/h to 80 km/h. Off-ramps will also be under repair. Alternating lane closures will be marked by barrels and cones. The work will be ongoing from Monday to Saturday between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. until Oct. 31.

COLCHESTER COUNTY: Highway 102 southbound

Motorists are advised to expect delays due to road work taking place on Highway 102 southbound on a seven-kilometre section from 2.5 kilometres north of Brookfield to Shortt's Lake Road. Speed limits will be reduced from 110 km/h to 80 km/h. Expect alternating lane closures. Jersey barriers will be placed at the Brookfield overpass limiting lane width to 16 feet. The work will be ongoing from Monday to Saturday between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. until the end of October.

KINGS COUNTY: Highway 101

Repairs to the Grand Pre overpass on Highway 101 will reduce lane width. Jersey barriers will restrict lane width to 3.66 metres (12 feet). Repair work will be conducted until the end of September.
