Children's Wish Fund-Raiser

The Middleton maintenance branch of the Department of Transportation and Public Works is holding an open house and Children's Wish Foundation fund-raiser on Saturday, Sept. 12, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the department's maintenance shed, 820 Main Street, on Highway 1 just west of Middleton.

Along with clowns, hotdogs, dunk tanks, and pony rides will be demonstrations and information on the department's role in snow and ice control.

A mailbox mounted on a post high enough to make room for a snowplow wing will be raffled.
